Tabac Brasserie & Baar Tabac is a new bar in the centre of Tallinn and they needed a window sign and a-frame. The client decided on a typeface for their logo – the 2016 released 'Lubaline' – then we added a black ribbon with custom thin condensed lettering for 'Baar / Brasserie'.
The window sign was hand-painted with Sericol PS, 1-Shot and gilded in two-tone Boston style with 23crt gold leaf. The matt inlay of gold was applied with a stale 'Saku Kuld' beer size. The sign is unusually big at about 180cm (6ft) wide. The reason for this is the width of the street and the competition with neighbouring bars signage.

The a-frame [scroll down for pics] was painted in 1-shot and then lacquered for extra-luster.

Most of the photography shown here is shot on film by Gia Lam Nguyen. Cheers Gia Lam!
